Accepting

Copays + Deductibles
Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), most health insurance plans are required to cover breastfeeding support, counseling, and equipment without any out-of-pocket costs—meaning no copays, coinsurance, or deductibles—for the duration of breastfeeding. This includes both prenatal and postnatal lactation counseling sessions with trained providers.
It's important to note that certain plans, known as "grandfathered" plans, are exempt from some ACA requirements and may not provide the same level of coverage for lactation services.
